L.A.S.T.'s social design team consists of nationally and internationally qualified individuals. We predominantly adopt a participatory methodology, approaching the specific needs of the local context and working closely with the associations or communities that request our support. Together, we develop the entire project, working hand in hand to ensure a significant and sustainable impact.
Search
The initial phase involves an in-depth analysis of the context in which the project will be developed, thus providing us with the essential tools to create a tailor-made project that responds to the specific needs and unique characteristics of the local context. Our research methodology is based on the principles of participatory research, actively involving the community and trying to root the research as much as possible in the local culture.
CO-DESIGN
Our design methodology is firmly based on the principle of active participation. Whether it is an assignment commissioned by a company, a humanitarian organisation or a personal project, we actively involve the people living in the place where we operate. Our aim is to promote ethical development that originates from below, in harmony with the real needs and expectations of the local community, rather than being imposed from above.
CO-MANAGEMENT
In the final phase of project management, we aim to implement a horizontal approach and realise the participatory methodology. We carefully select the composition of the project management team, which includes both our professionals and the people living in the place where the project is implemented. This synergetic collaboration ensures genuine participation and a lasting positive impact on the local community.
